Client: Australian Department of Health
(GOVERNMENT)

Brief
Working with the Australian Department of Health, I led an initiative to enhance an online tool, Medical Costs Finder (MCF), that provided consumers with a clear understanding of the cost of common medical procedures provided by specialists. The project led to the development of a Portal for Specialists that, through iterative product testing, we took from concept to prototype to MVP. This work took place over 12 months and 5 phases.
Outcome
This comprehensive piece of work resulted in vast improvements of the MCF website for consumers, measured through drop off rates, task completion rates and user feedback. It also led to the development of a new digital tool, the Portal for Specialists, which increased participation in the MCF service and thus the level of detail available to consumers.
